1940
One of the most popular eras for reproduction and vintage were, women's fashion in the 1940's combined style and practically to achieve a lasting elegance. This came as a surprise to those who lived through the era and remembered it for its shortages and difficulties, as well as some drabness. Wartime fashion presented a challenge, and everyone rose to that challenge as they did the much large global one with stellar results.
1960
Dully designed. Blues, greens and shimmery eye shadows were popular, false eyelashes were used, and hairstyles were a variety of lenghts and styles. Also mini skirts.
1980
Fashion history influences of the 80's including, Dynasty and Dallas, big hair, gold, glamour and glitz. Shoulders and shoulder pads. 1980's fashion also featured, big shoulder shawls, Doctor Martens, low heeled pumps, innovative hosiery and colour coordination.
2000
The 2000's are often described as a mash-up decade, where trends saw the fusion of previous styles, global and ethnic clothing, as well as the fashions of numerous music-based subcultures, especially indie pop. For the most part, the mid-late 2000's did not have one particular style but recycled vintage clothing styles.
